i can't believe how things i didn't think much of back then are so relevent now. Things like Psalm 109:8 didn't seem like they had naything to do with the future...

This might be my last entry. i hope you get a chance to see the other entries, and make a decision for your future...

i think this really is the End of the World...

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of Heaven, but my Father only. Matthew 24:36

i was looking back at some of the old entries, like the “official” end of the world on Dec. 21 2012. That was fiction…but now, it seems like reality.

i was going to ask, “How did i miss it?”but looking back at the scripture, i guess that’s an irrelevant question. Anyone who has accepted Jesus as savior will realize the truth in time. Well, at least in time for them to not get the Mark. Not necessarily in time to be saved from in death. In fact, it might be the opposite.

Man, all the little things that happened over the years. And I can't believe that some of the things I had hoped in, actually turned out to be part of the problem. How could i have been so blind???

i don't know when exactly events were set in motion. Nor do i have any clue when everything will really end. But i can say for certain, that on December 30, 2020, i personally realized that this is, indeed, The End.

The Secretary of State not qualified to be president???

"The same law applies to the native-born and to the alien living among you." Exodus 12:49

It's only been a few hours, but we're struggling to find our next president! As we're going down the list now...our Secretary of State isn't a natural born citizen?

Whaaaaaat?!?!?!

He was naturalized, and has lived here since he was like 2. He talks like someone born here. He seems pretty dog gone American to me.

But yet he isn't qualified to be president? Great...what can we do?

Today is the official end of the world!

Now learn a parable of the fig tree: when his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summe ris nigh. So likewise y, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Matthew 24:32-33

This is the day the world is supposed to end.

And you know what? I think they're right!

There's weird stuff happening! It’s Chicago, but it’s 58 degrees Fahrenheit outside.

Oh no! Global warming!


Oh, wait a minute. I am in the 60640 zipcode. We had a 60 degree Sunday a couple of Februaries (is that a word?) ago.


So it’s not the end of the world – just the usual (?!) weather in Chicago.

Well…we’ve still got a few more hours to live, I think.

Ok, so you know I have been interested in The End of the World (tm) since I was a kid.

So I even started this blog to document the end times...not that they seem to be happening right now.

And there have been books and times where The Rapture (tm) was all the rage too.

But there seems to be a bigger movement lately, especially about the year 2012. There have been TV specials and movies talking about it. (Doesn't it soud like something like Roland Emmerich would make...that's the guy who did Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow, among other movies, BTW).

And now I ran into this similarly names blog, ThisIsTheEnd.com and its author, Charlie Frost.

Have you been following this guy at all? He's talking about the end of the world...and other things.

Yes, he's crazy, but still interesting in a weird way. And he seems familar. For some reason, this tune keeps popping in my head whenever I see him: "...where everybody knows your name..."

OK...anyway. Unlike myself, who thrives on discussion, such as through comments, you can't post a response to his blog. In fact, he doesn't seems to have any way to contact him. If you do happen to know this guy (maybe Faceook friends), let him know about this blog.

Maybe we can exchange links or something?

Bob Louis goes ballistic on support for (illegal) immigrants

The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the LORD your God. Exodus 19: 34

Bob Louis, if you have seen him on his "news" show on cable…well you know his issues.

One he harps on a lot is illegal immigration. He is so much against it, that one time he actually devoted several minutes ripping on Superman, calling him the ultimate undocumented immigrant. He also thought it was ironic that his weakness is kryptonite, which is usually green…and that green (dollars) is what he said was a weakness of immigrants. Sound crazy? Well it’s true…that’s what he said.

Now, listen, read, I am NOT agreeing with him..I am just reporting on this guy.

Anyway, I say all that to note how he has attacked the National Association of Evangelicals for their stance on immigration, which was just released yesterday. Now, if you actually read it, you can see that they do want to respect the law and have some kind of limits of immigration. But they simply want to make sure thatevery person is treated fairly and justly. Sounds biblical to me. (Maybe someone can comment with some Bible references to support their stance?) Bob Louis warned, however, in no uncertain terms or tone, that evangelicals would be in big trouble if they continued thinking like that.

Yeah…Ooooo-kay. Evangelicals (well the white ones, anyway), make up a strong base of support for conservatives. What kind of craziness would turn conservatives who are not Christians to turn against the Evangelical community? Could we ever see it happen?
